Now pray, be glad on Christmas Day
Our Lord is our debts to pay,
All powerful yet sleeps on hay.

Pray, listen to the angels sing
And see the shepherds wondering
At how the baby is a king.

Pray, look and see the shining star
And sages travelling from afar
So see our new born saviour.

Now, thank we God for heaven won
In sending us his only son
