Let us be with Mary
1. Let us hide when Mary sees the angel come,
As she tells him softly God's will will be done,
And congratulate her when his light has gone
On the coming birth of God's beloved son.
2. Let us walk with Mary on the dusty way
And enjoy the news her cousin has to say,
We will gladly thank her if we're asked to stay
For the birth of John we'll meet again one day.
3. Let us ride with Mary through the falling snow
Down to Bethlehem where she's been told to go;
May we find her shelter as her birth pains grow
And then kiss her baby, as we love Him so.
